According to a source, the Tennessee Titans will start quarterback Joshua Dobbs in their Thursday Night Football game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Dobbs, who was signed off the Detroit Lions’ practice squad last week, will be making his first career NFL start.
The Titans will be resting several starters, including rookie quarterback Malik Willis, for the matchup against the Cowboys.
They will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 18 in a game that will determine the winner of the AFC South.
Willis has started in three games this season, throwing for 276 yards without any touchdowns and three interceptions, while Tannehill, who is dealing with an ankle injury, will not be ready for Week 18.
Dobbs has appeared in six games dating back to 2018, completing 10 passes for 45 yards and one interception.
